Christie Marie Lauder

Christie Marie Lauder is the Program Director of the Communications and Design department at Habib University, where she teaches creative writing, film theory, and journalism. Formerly, Lauder was the Director of the Centre for Excellence in Journalism at IBA. Her work has appeared in Persephone Magazine, Peauxdunque Review, Jezebel, and Refinery 29, among other outlets. She has also served on the board of the Salam Award, promoting speculative fiction writing in the Pakistani diaspora.  She writes frequently about the intersections of pop culture and gender, genre movies, and adaptation.
