H.M. Naqvi
H.M. Naqvi is the award-winning author of the acclaimed novel Home Boy. Longlisted for the Dublin Award, shortlisted for the Shakti Bhatt, Home Boy was awarded the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature in 2011 at the Jaipur Literary Festival.
Naqvi has worked in the financial services industry, taught creative writing at Boston University and at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, written for The Global Post, Caravan, and Dawn, and appeared on CNN, NPR, and BBC World Service.
His second, Karachi-based novel, The Selected Works of Abdullah the Cossack was launched in South Asia in February and will be published in the US by Grove Atlantic in April.
