Sarmad Faraz

Sarmad Faraz is a passionate musician and a marketer by profession. He’s always had a penchant for creative pursuits and has been associated with various musical acts in Islamabad over the last two decades. Sarmad also wrote a musical tribute called Shayar for his late father, Ahmad Faraz, featuring his timeless poetry and convictive voice. The musical dedication is based on Ahmad Faraz’s poem ‘Shayar’ from his maiden book Tanha Tanha (1954). Sarmad hopes to continue amalgamating his fervour for music and his father’s poetry to inspire the youth and challenge the status quo.
