Yasir Qazi

A radio broadcast journalist, poet, prose writer, researcher, columnist, and translator, Yasir is carrying forward the legacy of his father, the celebrated Sindhi poet and scholar, Maqsood Gul. He has published three poetry books for children, all of which were awarded the Best Children’s Book of the Year by the Sindhi Language Authority, Government of Sindh, and the Institute of Sindhology. Compiler of a volume of Sindhi essays, write-ups, and columns on Maqsood Gul, he is the author of a poetic biography of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
