Amy Christianson

Amy Christianson is the Public Affairs Officer at the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi.  She joined Mission Pakistan from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs where she was the Global Alumni Outreach Coordinator deepening the U.S. government’s relationship with millions of exchange alumni.  She joined the Foreign Service in 2002 and previously served in South Africa, Brazil, Honduras, Mexico, and in Washington D.C. as the Special Assistant to the Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs.  Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Amy was the Deputy Executive Director of a Native American association located in Washington, D.C. and a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic.
