Taimur Rahman

Taimur Rahman is an academic, musician and socialist political activist. He is associate professor of political science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is the author of the book The Class Structure of Pakistan published by Oxford University Press. The book won the Akhtar Hameed Khan Memorial Award for the best social sciences book about Pakistan in 2012. He is also the General Secretary of the Mazdoor Kissan Party and the spokesperson of the progressive rock band Laal.
