Ghayoor Moiz Mustafa Qawwal and Brothers

Belonging to Qawwal Bachchon ka Gharana of Delhi, their family roots can be traced to one of the earliest disciples of Amir Khusro. They have trained in classical music with their grandfather the renowned Ustad Munshi Raziuddin. They now perform with their father Ustad Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad. Their Qawwali ensemble, ‘Ghayoor Moiz Mustafa Qawwal and Brothers’ comprises six sons of Ustad Fareed Ayaz and two sons of Abu Muhammad. They can perform in multiple languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic, Farsi, and Hindi, incorporating classical raag in various genres of classical music such as Dhrupad, Khayal, Tarana, Thumri, and Dadra.
