Romila Kareem

A multidisciplinary archival artist, curator, and art educator, Romila Kareem dedicates her time to projects revolving around printmaking, history of art, and art education. She has also participated in a number of national and international artist group shows. She conceived and curated First International Print Biennial Karachi with the collaboration of VM Art Gallery, a research-based project that highlights the journey of Printmaking in Pakistan. Her most recent research-based show ‘Walking through Play’ (2019) was an interactive and experimental show focusing on the relationship between play and learning.
