Shahzad Sharjeel

Shahzad Sharjeel regularly writes for Dawn, the leading English language newspaper of Pakistan. He also teaches International Political Economy, Social Policy, and Development Communication at public and private universities. A native of Tharparkar, Sindh, he grew up in Karachi. He has a post-graduate degree in International Relations from the University of Karachi where he has also taught. He also studied at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University Boston. “Rindana”, a collection of satire and humour essays in Urdu, is Sharjeel’s latest book published by Danyal publications. His collection of poetry titled “Kiyun” was published in 2008.
