Shameneh Majid

Shameneh Majid is a writer and performer who has performed across the country and was a featured performer at India’s first national poetry slam in Bangalore 2016, as part of a group. She currently works with Spoken Stage to help promote the spoken word as a medium, conducting workshops and hosting events, and helping people to express themselves. Her poetry explores the idea of the body, the self, womanhood, families, and interpersonal relationships.
